Pasquetta e Hanami

La mia Pasquetta è stata a Roma, quest’anno. Più precisamente ho organizzato un picnic al volo al Laghetto dell’Eur. Il mio compagno ed io.

Ho avuto l’idea del laghetto per via del periodo: ci sono i ciliegi in fiore! E così abbiamo festeggiato la Pasquetta e fatto l’Hanami!

Ho preparato un bento leggero, ma soprattutto veloce, e siamo andati.

Abbiamo fatto la scelta giusta! I ciliegi erano tutti in fiore e lo spettacolo era degno di essere fotografato finché c’era l’ultimo raggio di sole!

My Easter Monday was at home, this year: in Rome. More precisely, I organized a picnic to the small lake of Eur. Me and my partner.

The idea came from the period: sakura bloom! And so we celebrated Easter Monday and had Hanami!

I have prepared a light and fast bento box for me and my partner and we went.

Right choice! The cherry trees were all in bloom and the show was worthy of being photographed until the last ray of sunshine!

Hanami è l’usanza giapponese di godere dello spettacolo della fioritura degli alberi, in particolare dei Sakura (ciliegi). Si fa una  passeggiata e un picnic sotto gli alberi. Insomma, si sta all’aria aperta.

I Sakura dell’Eur sono stati donati dalla città di Tokio alla città di Roma negli anni ’50 e sono stati piantati lungo la passeggiata del laghetto.

Hanami is the Japanese tradition of enjoying the spectacle of flowering trees, especially Sakura (cherry) having a walk and a picnic under the trees.

The Sakura trees of Eur were donated by the city of Tokyo to the city of Rome in the ’50s and were planted along the promenade of the small lake.
